Wentworth Point is a Western Sydney suburb, 16km west of the Sydney CBD and was formerly part of the suburb of Homebush and was named after D’Arcy Wentworth, Ship’s Assistant-Surgeon on the Second Fleet. It is located on the western shore of Homebush Bay on the southern side of the Parramatta River. Buses operate from Wentworth Point to Burwood to Rhodes (526) and Chatswood to Olympic Park (533).
