Key Collection - Everything you need to know before you move in

Welcome to your new home! You're about to collect your keys. This is going to be a great start to your new home. Before you move in, we'd like to advise you of what you should do to make your move as smooth as possible.

  1. Make sure that you have received the Condition Report, ticked each box and this should be returned within 7 days to your Property Manager

  2. By laws: A very important document – what you can and cannot do within the complex – your should confirm receipt of the by laws

  3. Keys – received and signed off

  4. Payment; please pay your rent on time and when you do, type your reference number when making a payment. Allow 2 business days for the payment to be received – If you fail to pay on time, you may create a poor rental ledger

  5. Repair – when you occupy the property, you are the best person to advise of any issues with any maintenance. We offer a website to record your maintenance request at https://www.infinityproperty.com.au/rent/maintenance-request

  6. Routine inspections- we conduct inspections every 5 months and our agents will take some photos to report to the Landlord – we will respect your privacy and not intentionally take any photos of your personal items

  8. Book a Lift a couple of days before moving into your property. If not, the Building Manager may delay you moving in and you may incur additional removalists costs

  9. Car park: Make sure that you know:
    • where the driveway is
    • how to access the car park and
    • how to find your carpark in the complex

  10. Building Manager/Strata Agent – these days complexes have their own Building Managers. Best if you register your name and email address for any future maintenance issues

  11. Utilities: connecting your gas, water, power and internet. We work with Direct Connect and they offer a FREE service to all your utilities. The charge is made against the supplier, not the user! We will provide you with details of Direct Connect: https://www.directconnect.com.au/
